Early Career Teacher
The Early Career Framework (ECF) is part of new, statutory reforms by the Department for Education (DfE) designed to significantly improve the experience of Early Career Teachers (ECTs). As of September 2021, all teachers new to the profession will have a two-year induction period and, during this, they will have to follow a programme of professional development covering the ECF. The North Liverpool Link Schools Partnership have the opportunity to link with Inspire Learning North West Teaching School Hub. This Teaching School Hub have been selected by the DfE as an official delivery partner for the Full Induction Programme for the ECF. Inspire Teaching School Hub are working with University College London (UCL) and a wide range of partners across the Liverpool and Wirral region to shape the ECF content, meeting the bespoke needs of new teachers in the area. The North Liverpool Link Schools Partnership have been successful in gaining a Teacher Development Grant from Merseyside and Cheshire and Greater Manchester Consortium to support Early Years Career Teachers.
